[Volusia] Saturday- Back To School Night at Volusia Speedway

Volusia County students are back to the books on August 18 and Volusia Speedway is giving students and teachers a Back to School send-off.  On Saturday, August 16, Volusia County teachers and administration will be admitted to the races for half-price.  In addition fans can contribute school supplies for needy students and earn a $2 discount on their regular adult admission ticket.  One lucky child will win a backpack filled with school supplies to get this school year off to a roaring start.



The weekly racing program will feature the Daytona Dodge Chrysler Late Models, Budweiser Modifieds, UMP DIRTcar Street Stocks, Aerotec Aluminum 4-cylinder Cars and RBC Bank Mini-Stocks.



Fans young and old will be entertained with a special Ice Cream Toss game at intermission.



Teachers and students are invited to Volusia Speedway for a great start to the 2008 school year.  Volusia Speedway offers the best value in family entertainment in the area.  Children ages 10 and under are always admitted free.  Adult admission is $10 , students ages 11 to 15 are $5.  Gates open at 5:00 - racing begins at 7:30.
